Wedesday Morning Bike Ride
freds_winetasting.jpgIt was nice to have a day off in the middle of the week. As I was riding around thinking of what I should take pictures of I found a few things of interest.
Seems I am not the only one wondering whats going on in Southside Business District... What's up with Fred's and the Wine Tasting Room? I got a random email a few days ago...
Sat outside Sneads dining with a friend. We reminisced our years at the Tasting Room.......the old bar.... DK making sandwiches...... Denise bar tending./.... the friends gathering for a drink....It was the neighborhood stop........ so sad to see a vacant memory gone to ??????
My not very knowledgeable response was:
I really don't know the answer. Rumors I have heard say either "for sale" or going to remodel for the new "season". But if you go out to Main St in Lakewood Ranch you can see the "new" versions of Mortons and Freds --- its a weird place -- I hate to see Southside village moving out there .....
