Rosemary Rising - what a great time

Someone asked me ... "am I really in Sarasota??" The Rosemary District had a great party Friday night.. great music, great people, great businesses -- did you know Sarasota has a store that is devoted to Olive Oil we spent some money there. I didn't get my picture of the Veronica Tarts but I did see their booth.

This needs to happen more often. There were competing events Downtown and at Southside Village... What a great night. Just think a couple thousand people out on a Friday night having free fun.

Great Music I love violin

the "new college dancers"

Mayor Servian was there having fun along with lots of others

Tae Kwon Do Demo was cool

Too much to do in Sarasota ... that's the problem we need.

The City of Sarasota

It gives me great pleasure , and pangs of jealousy, to see your great night in my most favorite town in the USA. A mere 18hrs travel time away from the UK. (of which only 10hrs in the air) I can't wait to re-visit in the fall. In the meantime give my regards to the Gator Bar and the 5 O'clock Club!

Rosemary Court Rising....

Absolutely, the best idea anyone has ever had for Sarasota. The Rosemary District. I hope "...that was not all there is..." This event needs to be continued as a weekly, Friday night event!!! Just look at the people it attracted! And hardly anyone knew about it. For decades Sarasota has been known as an Arts & Craft cultural town.... History demands her due respect!

We thought you had totally lost it with the towering infernos of concrete having not a soul. A sell out. Tradition is made of sterner stuff, you know. Burrr~ if I were a rich man..... aba, daba, daba, doo...

Please, you are on the right track.... I promise you there will be many more artists interested in the "Friday Night Affair with Sarasota".

It certainly beats hanging out at a local bar to meet and greet, mix and mingle. Browse the Rosemary market place for culture. And there's music and dancing in the streets.... what joy..! What innocent fervor. Bravo!

Keep up the good work. .... Whoever decided on this! Don't drop the ball.

Thanks, Carlee
