Sarasota was a fun place to be this weekend .... but I think the 13th Annual Giving Hunger The Blues show was a great time!! Fun bands and cold beer ... and close to my house...
In a quiet, tree shaded neighborhood near Cherokee Park lies one of the cities great travesties of architecture. It is hard to imagine this area full of homes on the National Registry and those splendidly restored from early Florida elegance hosts a CORRUGATED STEEL monstrosity (I have pictures but do not know how to post them here)!
Neighbors stopping by this WAREHOUSE structure during construction were told by workmen that,"no, it's not a warehouse but a house the owner plans to use as a 'Party House"", whatever that is. Whatever it is, it is certainly an eyesore which should be covered up!
