New 2007 Gillespie Park Historic Homes Calendars are In!

2007 Gillespie Park Histori Homes Calendars Available For Sale

The Original Gillespie Park Neighborhood Association has created a calendar for 2007 featuring the watercolor paintings of Margret Bering. Each month showcases a different Gillespie Park historic home.

This is the second calendar fund raising project initiated by the OGPNA. The first calendar was designed and sold in 2004. The response by the community was overwhelming. The first press run of 200 sold out, and an additional 500 copies were printed and sold before the project was over. Many people who bought calendars shared wonderful stories of growing up and living in Gillespie Park over the years. The historic homes and buildings in downtown Sarasota are crown jewels in our community. The support OGPNA received for the first calendar reflects that many residents do appreciate the work being done to resurrect these old neighborhoods.

The 2007 calendar is a great Holiday gift, and is available through the association’s website, www.OGPNA.com. This year’s calendar has no advertising, and features a spiral binding. For further information, please contact Andrea Seager, 724-2245.

About OGPNA:
