We should all be starting to pay attention the County Commission Race just a few weeks away. Lets get over the stupid write-in candidate thing... We should just have open primaries for local elections and get over it.

We have three good people running in the Republican Primary.. in alphabetical order by first name...

I have worked with all three of them and am confident that they would each be a good county commissioner.

-- His experience on the planning board is invaluable. He is very thoughtful and always seemed very prepared on the complex issues they dealt with.

Casey is a good person with lots of experience working with neighborhood leaders. John Lewis has strong experience as a past Chief of Police in Sarasota and currently as a member of the school board.

I just think that growth issues and housing are our biggest areas of concern in this election cycle.
