Alex Marshall is a free lance writer in New York that has a pretty thought provoking article on new urbanism. Personally Celebration seemed very Disney weird to me the one time I was there... and I have never been to Kissimmee but have read some of the Florida Cracker Cowboy history of the region.

He also has a book, How Cities Work: Suburbs, Sprawl and the Roads Not Taken, with another soon to be published.
